Lion Dance Cafe
Lion Dance Cafe started as a vegan Chinese-Singaporean catering company, and established their brick and mortar in downtown Oakland in 2021. As they grew their visibility, they were in need of promotional materials. We shot together in studio to create images of a selection of popular menu items and portraits of owners CY Chia and Shane Stanbridge. When they annouced their closing in 2024, they were met with fans waiting in lines around the corner every night until their last night of service. This collection of images is a celebration of Lion Dance Cafe in the time that we worked together.
